As Senior Business Development Manager Julie drives new business by producing compelling proposals, letters, and presentations for prospective clients and innovating best new pitch practices. She has also served as ESI’s interim Marketing and Communications Director, increasing inbound leads by directing press campaigns and marketing initiatives across digital platforms. She oversaw the press and marketing launch of ESI’s project Terrell Place in Washington, D.C., called “your next Instagram destination” by Curbed magazine.
Previously Julie worked for over 7 years in business development at Christie’s auction house, where she helped secure $760 million in sale consignments. She also directed Christie’s Emerging Collectors initiative, overseeing strategy, promotion, strategic partnerships, and programming to attract, engage and educate new young clients.
Before joining Christie’s she was an editor at Art+Auction, ARTnews and Town & Country magazines. She holds a BA magna cum laude from Brown University in History and Art History and an MSt from the University of Oxford in Art History.
