WORKTECH18: How We Took eBay From Corporate Campus to Immersive Workplace Experience
Posted October 25, 2018
Keeping your corporate campus feeling fresh, modern and on-brand can be challenging in the world of corporate real estate and facilities. And taking it to the next level to provide a cutting-edge immersive workplace experience for your employees, customers and visitors might seem too ambitious.
Join our Head of Media Environments, Emily Webster, at WORKTECH18 in San Francisco to see an example of how tech giant eBay created an immersive workplace experience at their Silicon Valley headquarters.
In this session, Emily will explore how we worked closely with our client eBay to design a new building on their Silicon Valley corporate campus that embodies their unique company culture, brings their brand to life, attracts new talent, and inspires their employees.
What to Expect: The Latest in Tech-Infused Workplaces
Main Street—eBay’s new 20,000-square-foot welcome center in San Jose—seamlessly weaves digital and physical design to allow visitors to explore the eBay brand and marketplace in real time. Main Street has become a hub on the campus, creating an immersive workplace experience.
In this case study presentation, discover how eBay transformed its brand vision into interactive shared experiences, and its data into stories, immersing employees and visitors in the intense pulse of its business, vast community of users, and the enormous volume of products sold through its system each day. But it’s not all high-tech screens—Main Street was designed as a place for collaborative work with plenty of space, from an airy executive conference room to an outside patio and coffee bar, for informal meetings, conferences, and events.
Attendees will walk away with concrete ideas on how to take the design thinking and ideas from Main Street and apply them to their next project to create immersive workplace experience that attracts, retains and satisfies employees
