As people walk through the lobby, they become digital paintbrushes, trailing a colored path across the display. As more and more people fill the lobby, the installation fills with more brushstrokes. Using placemaking, ESI designed a dynamic LED lighting experience for the building lobby and its oversize entrance portal, creating a memorable and awe-inspiring welcome moment for tenants and visitors. At The Crossroads, a custom video game engine powers animated 3D landscapes inspired by California’s natural beauty. When people walk in, the animated flora and fauna respond to their presence. A “gust of wind” rustles the leaves, flowers bloom and animals make eye contact. Visitors become active participants in the landscape, producing an immersive lobby experience. Learn more.
