To deepen customer connections and transform the travel experience, Delta Airlines and ESI Design crafted an art, media, and graphics program that captures the majesty of flight and provides a positive distraction during periods of waiting. The experience is built around the parallel themes of "departure" and "arrival." In the departure hall, LED columns powered by real-time flight data display sweeping images that allude to departing flights' destinations. In baggage claim, four media bands at the exits welcome visitors to NYC with iconic views that respond to the presence of passerbys. This innovative design not only enhances the airport experience, but also strengthens Delta's commitment to celebrating the spirit of travel through art.
